Two-Way IR Obstacle Sensor Price in Pakistan
The two-way infrared obstacle sensor is a reflective detection module for mobile robots, obstacle-avoidance experiments and basic automation. It emits infrared light and monitors the reflected signal from a nearby object, providing controller-friendly detection outputs without physical contact.
How reflective IR detection works
Detection strength changes with the amount of infrared light reflected back to the receiver. Light-coloured, smooth targets may be detected more easily than dark, angled or absorbent surfaces. Strong sunlight and other infrared sources can also affect performance, so the module should be adjusted and tested in the actual operating environment.
Setup guidance
- Confirm the supported supply voltage and output logic before wiring.
- Connect ground between the sensor and controller.
- Read each supported detection output with a compatible digital input.
- Adjust sensitivity gradually while using the intended target and mounting height.
- Keep emitters and receivers clean and unobstructed.
This module is suitable for short-range presence and obstacle detection, but it is not a calibrated distance-measurement sensor. Use an ultrasonic or time-of-flight sensor when numerical distance readings are required.
For compatible controller testing, connect the module to an Arduino UNO R3 only after confirming the sensor supply voltage and output logic.
